Dr Deepak Kumar Srivastava Memorial Trust (DKSMT) is a collaborative foundation-
Late Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava was humble, social activist and environmentalist person. He was generously applauded by everyone including his political rivals for his spotless clean character. He had interest in poetry as well as written some poems and novels based on environment and humanity. He worked selflessly till last breath of his life in service of humanity.
It was founded in the memory of Late Dr Deepak Kumar Srivastava, after he met with an accident on his way to Lucknow from Bareilly and lost his life due to lack of any near-by medical facilities available at that time in 2007 on Lucknow-Sitapur Highway. Dr Deepak was a Vaccine and Cold-chain Consultant for Varanasi Zone, with UNICEF, Uttar Pradesh and Family Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh . He was a social activist and actively volunteered for many socio-promotional and awareness campaigns as well.
DKSMT is a non-profit and non-government organization committed to impart road safety and emergency medical aid across National Highways. It was founded on the principle of highway fatal-casualties’ danger reduction as well as to promote well-being of human health.
Major aim of this initiative is to prepare a replicable model for post accident measures to be implemented on any highway or road. It focuses on collecting verifiable information and data on Road Safety & Emergency Care across Highways. Based on original research data, the Trust proposes major changes in Post Accident Response.

The trust based NGO organized an assorted list of on-ground pilot projects and training programs across rural highways (Lko-Sitapur Highway). It is committed to render awareness among rural people by community presentations to create action against Highway accidents. Besides DKSMT also promote environmental health by focussing on safe drinking water. DKSMT team is committed towards promoting well-being of human health by focussing completely on Health, Education and Environment.
Objectives

Dr Deepak Kumar Srivastava Memorial Trust (DKSMT) is a collaborative foundation whose objective is-
1. To educate people about distracted driving on Highways/Road.
2. Efforts for safeguarding road accidents victims on National Highways by providing health facilities and Ambulance free on cost.
3. To work for humanism.
4. To work for improvement of the living condition of poor people by providing them health and hygiene.
5. To make the people aware about health related issues.
6. To work for health and hygiene related projects.
7. To work for the betterment and development of the special groups; exploited and weaker section.
8. Efforts for safeguarding human health.
9. Endeavour’s to empower family planning for population control.
10. Endeavour’s to safeguards public health.
11. Including scientific temper in the masses.
12. To help preserve the environment.
13. To give, provide and/or render food, medicine and other help &/or assistance in any shape or form to the poor deserving and needy persons.
14. To publish and/or publishing books and periodicals and newspaper in Ins=dia or outside for the advancement of all medical education and culture.
15. To give, provide and/or other help and assistance for the relief of person affected by natural and other calamities such as floods, fire, famine, cyclone, earthquake, storm, accident, draught, epidemic, ti give donation, subscriptions or cotribution to institutions, establishments, centers or persons doing releif work on such occasions.
16. To start, maintain and assist any relief measures in those parts which are more or become subject to natural calamities.
17. To educate masses, How believes maintain. Harmony among us. To educateyoung and physically handicapped people, how to live united and secure our nations and youth, women and human being, right’s awareness camp and programs.
18. To promote the program of State/Central Government Social Welfare Department U.P., Social Welfare Board Kapart, NABARD, NBRI, CDRI, UNICEF, Health Department, State Aids Society, SUDA, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, SIPSA, Children and women Welfare, Pulse Polio Mission, Cancer and Culture Department.
19. To open fund, establish promote, setup, run, maintain, assist, finance support and /or aid help, in setting up and/or maintaining and/or running hospital, charitable dispensaries, sanatoriums, hostels and other similar institution or centers for rendering or providing medical relief and/or aid to the suffering humanities.
20. To promote, organize, administer, establish, support maintain and/or grant aid to any person institutions or society or organization whatsoever having for its objects of charitable purposes and to incur expenditure in connection there with.
21. To promote assist and/or maintain all activities by whosoever carried on in India in conformity with the objects of the Trust and as are conducive to the well being and general welfare of the nation or are conducive for advancement of any objects of general public atility not involving/carrying on any activity for profit.
22. To conduct Seminars, Workshops and Meetings aimed at spreading awareness about the object of the Trust and seek opinion of the general public in the regard.
